Individual Therapy
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change”
Carl R Rogers
Why Individual Therapy?
Our early relationships and experiences shape how we connect with others, respond to stress, and relate to ourselves. Over time, these patterns can show up as anxiety, relationship challenges, feelings of emptiness, and low self-worth.
Therapy with me offers a supportive, compassionate space to experientially explore your inner world and get curious about the ways the past may still live in the present. Together, we’ll work toward healing old wounds, cultivating self-compassion, and nurturing a deeper sense of internal safety and presence.

"Trauma is not what happens to you, but what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you." Dr. Gabor Maté

Healing is Possible
Trauma doesn't just come from major events like accidents or physical abuse—often called “big T” trauma.
It can also stem from ongoing experiences in childhood, like emotional neglect, inconsistent or emotionally unavailable caregivers, or growing up without feeling truly seen, safe, or supported. This kind of developmental trauma can deeply shape how we see ourselves and relate to others.
Whether your trauma is rooted in a single event or from the quieter absence of care, therapy offers a space to gently explore, heal, and reconnect with your sense of safety and self.
My Approach
I believe that much of life’s meaning and richness comes from the quality of our relationships—both with others and with ourselves. In our work together, I strive to create a supportive, relational space where you can explore the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside, and gently uncover how past experiences might be shaping your present.

A core part of my philosophy is listening closely to the wisdom of the body and emotions. So much of our inner experience lives beyond words, and the body often holds the keys to insight, healing, and lasting change.

As a trauma-trained psychotherapist, I integrate Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), EMDR, somatic approaches, and parts work to help you connect more fully with yourself, feel more grounded in your body, and move toward a life of deeper presence and connection.
